USING OUR TALENTS FOR GOOD: THE BENEFITS OF DOING PRO BONO WORK

Register today!

Do we as agencies and communicators, have a moral imperative to use our talents to help make the world a better place and to help non-profit companies succeed?

The benefits of doing Philanthropic work are rarely financial. But they are tangible. And real. And important.

Come join us for our August luncheon as we explore the benefits of doing pro-bono work with three award-winning Dallas agencies who will showcase their creative and discuss why they take the time and make the investment to help others.

Angelo AntoliniAngelo Antoline
President I Creative Director
Since starting mundayMorning, Angelo has been tireless in his community efforts. He has provided as needed pro bono professional design and creative marketing for the Chandler Jackson Foundation and to the KebbSmiles Foundation. Angelo also created the marketing material for the Bridge of Relief that provided assistance to families in the Dallas area who were displaced due to Hurricane Katrina.

Angelo was previously a Board Member of Project Playhouse, the Home Builder’s Association of Dallas charity Foundation and has assisted Project Playhouse annually by providing pro bono advertising items including the event brochure and brand messaging.

For all of his pro bono efforts, the most significant has been the CreateAthon – a 24-hour blitz of creative and marketing solutions held on January 29 & 30, 2009 for the benefit of eleven DFW Area non-profit [501(c)] organizations. At the end of the 24 hour period, all eleven non-profit groups received the output of the mundayMorning work – which included: Web Sites, Brochures, Billboard Designs, Print Ads, Logo’s and Marketing & Public Relations Plans. 33 total projects were completed within the 24 hours.

Brian NadurakBrian Nadurak, Principal

Brian, a native Calgarian (that’s in Canada), graduated from the University of Calgary/Alberta College of Art. Then, in an effort to accumulate even more sheepskin, he went on to graduate from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, with a bachelor’s degree in both advertising and design. He started working with The Richards Group immediately thereafter.

After years of working on such award-winning campaigns as Motel 6, Pilgrim’s Pride, Southwestern Bell Mobile, PrimeCo, and Pizza Hut, Brian took a leap into the future and never looked back. He realized the potential of the Internet before most everyone else did and helped launch Travelocity (which the agency has to this day) and a whole bunch of dot-coms that may or may not have survived. As Click Here’s creative director, he now oversees the great work produced on behalf of such notable clients as Hyundai, The Patrón Spirits Company, the Florida Department of Citrus, Michaels, National Pork Board, Thomasville, Chick-fil-A, and Fruit of the Loom.

Over the years, Brian’s work has either been honored by or appeared in Communication Arts Design and Advertising annuals, The One Show, the CLIO Awards, New York Art Directors Club, Radio Mercury Awards, the Effie Awards, the Webby Awards, and the DFW Interactive Marketing Association.

Brian’s greatest offline achievements are his son, Macullen, and his work on behalf of inner-city kids through the Heroes Organization.

Online event registration closes at noon on Monday, August 9th. Requests received after that time will be subject to walk-up pricing.
